Weekly Update – 14/10/2011

In my life this week…

I flew into Melbourne on Wednesday to pick up the children, then flew back out again the same day to bring them home. Back into routines, schedules and learning!

In our homeschool this week…

The children learnt about Giotto di Bondone an Italian Painter who lived between 1266 – 1337. The made their own egg tempura paints and then painted with it. The children have also been doing some gardening and growing some vegetables from seeds in our back yard. We have also enjoyed some great documentaries – James Mays – Toy Stories, About a Plasticine Garden that was displayed at the Chelsea flower show,  and also about a Lego house that was made completely out of lego. Plus a documentary about The gardens of Italy.

Places we have been and people we have seen…

We seen Nan Jen and Graeme at the airport in Melbourne, but otherwise a very quite time had for all.

My favorite thing this week was…
