Well our Rose Garden was way out of control, so we got stuck into cleaning it up with babcia’s guidance and hard work we transformed it from an overgrown area to a well managed space.
A job well done by all who helped out!

Well here we are another year almost over and a new one almost begun. 2010 has been a year of many ups and downs for us. It has seen us search for some where to call our own, only to find mountains that needed to be climbed prior to our triumph. Yet now we have permanently cemented ourselves in the Tasmanian Country side living the Australian dream of owning our own home – once again.
The journey has been long and hard the road full of twists and turns. The possibilities endless, yet the task at times daunting while also exhilarating.
Finally we have settled, made a mark on what is now ours and changed its look forever. Reflections now, are that of our dreams and aspirations, rather than echo’s of the past. The energy of our patch of soil is now changed forever, heightened by our enthusiasm, ready for any upcoming changes that lay ahead.
For me it has been a very strange journey - One that provides me with a sense of being connected and coming home. From the instant I shared breath with this corner of the world I felt at home. I had the need to fight for it, even though others at times were unable to see its beauty. I could feel the energy within and the beauty beyond one’s eyes.
Now as all reside in this corner of the world. I see a true contentment flourishing. A new dwelling has brought us many endings as well as many beginnings. Shifts in time and commitments that better reflect the family’s needs and desires at this point.
All who share and partake in this life here with me are more enthusiastic, more engaged and more involved now that one has the ability to mould and shape their world around them. We no longer live with the constraints of another, but rather with many possibilities that are only restrained by our own imaginations and the opportunities we take.
I foresee 2011 as a year were we each come into our own as we continue to build a life together that reflects our true spirits unleashed by our own patch of grass in rural Tasmania.
I say roll on 2011, we are willing and ready for your arrival.

Well we are all finally back on board and running as normal – if you can ever really say what normal is!
We have finally managed to renovate, paint, re carpet and unpack all our belongings into our new house and also clean and return the keys for the rental house we used to live in in Austins Ferry – ‘used to live in’ how great that sounds to our ears! Especially since now we only have one house to worry about!
We are excited that we managed to get everything under control before the 1st of December. For this is when we start our Christmas craft, cooking and celebrations. Tomorrow we start the tradition of decorating the house for Christmas, cooking Christmas foods, making Christmas crafts, sending Christmas cards and the list goes on and on and on!
So from now on in, we should be able to blog again on a regular basis! which will be so much fun.
I promise to come back soon and add in posts detailing our adventures renovating, painting etc our new home – along with some interesting pictures!

Well after having to wait almost an extra 5 weeks from our original settlement date of 27th of September until today, for the vendors to work out their issues, we finally have the keys to the house we were buying in Kempton. Unfortunately the excitement has been overshadowed by the issues surrounding our purchase.
Now we have the huge job of cleaning the place up and getting the garden under control, painting the inside, removing some walls and replacing the carpet, all before we even think of moving in.
Ah the fun begins….

Well here we are – still waiting for some kind of update on what is happening with our House purchase. We are hoping that this is not going to drag on too much longer. All we want is to be able to complete this purchase and get on with the packing, moving and our new life.
Fingers crossed that we get some kind of good news sometime today – and therefore can set a settlement date and time for next week…
