Antarctica Sculpture Series on Hobart Waterfront

The Hobart Waterfront has a beautiful series of sculptures that depict Tasmania’s link to Antarctica.

The sculpture below represents Louis Bernacchi taking a self-portrait with his dog Joe and is a tribute to the 1899 British Antarctic Expedition of which Louis Bernacchi was a member.

Da Vinci Machines Exhibition. Hobart, Tasmania.

On Wednesday the 11th of March we went to the Da Vinci Machines Exhibition in Hobart with a number of other Home educated families. This was a wonderful experience and we learned a lot.

There were approximately 60 Machines on display, showing how wonderful and ingenious Da Vinci was. We were full of fascination and enjoyed being able to interact with many of the Machines on Display. We would definitely recommend to anyone interested in visiting this exhibition anywhere in the wold to definitely go, It was amazing.
