Tree Sculputres – Campbell Town, Tasmania.
Spirit of Tasmania II
Today is the first day of our week long holiday. It started out with a long drive from Hobart to Devonport to get onto the ferry for our trip from Tasmania to Mainland, Victoria. Our boat for the day was the ‘Spirit of Tasmania II’. It was a great trip, with wonderfully clear weather, a nice Porthole Cabin to relax in and time to read, chat and just enjoy the ride!

The Moon is out again Tonight!
Well the moon is out again tonight, however it is proving to be a lot harder to catch, as it ducks in and out of the floating clouds. It is times like these that I wished I had a more powerful zoom lens. But still the photo turned out okay in the end after many unsuccessful tries!

Well the lightening started around 9pm tonight while we were sitting at the Hobart Waterfront enjoying the Taste Festival new Years Eve Party.
However once we got home I was finally able to catch some of the action with my camera! here is the result!
There are also some great images of the Lightening over Hobart on new Years eve here:
