Holiday Card Exchange Project – 2009

Well we are excited to be involved in a Holiday Exchange project along with other schools around the world. We have already chosen our cards and written in them and sent them to the other participating schools in Canada, The USA and Europe. We decided to send cards that where reflective of Australia. These included cards with pictures of Koala’s and Kangaroo’s enjoying the festive season on them!

Today we were also excited to actually receive some cards from the other schools around the world, into our mailbox. It is great for us all to share and enjoy the giving and receiving of Christmas wishes from Afar, while also gaining a glimpse into how Christmas is celebrated in other Countries.

We would love to say a Big THANK YOU to Kasia  in Poland, who organised this project and sent out all the addresses to the participants!

Here are pictures of the cards we received today from Kasia and her Students!

Cards received from “Szkoła Podstawowa w Książenicach” – Primary school in Książenicach, Poland.
