Well we finally manged to get our chickens – Last Friday to be exact. We had ordered a coop for them before Christmas and had organised to get 4 chickens from a guy at Tata’s work for us to keep. We opted for two chickens around 2 months old and two around 2 weeks old. The bigger chickens are easy to tell apart as one is white and the other brown. The little chickens are a lot harder to distinguish which one is which.
The children are excited about having chickens and have named the as follows:
So after much trouble, time and effort, the chicken coop is put together and the chickens have been introduced to each other again. They all come from the same place, so we are hoping for no trouble as they learn to live in their new environment.
