Why, oh why, oh why! do I always have to think things will be okay and not worry about backing up my photographs and documents on my computer?
Well, I guess the worst thing that could happen today managed to happen. It seems like such a small thing until it actually occurs. It all started out with the fan in my computer making a noise, so SZG went to investiagte and change the noisy fan for a new one. He turned the computer off, changed the fan and then turned it back on again and my computer had decided in that short time to die a quick and final death.
So we have lost everything, all our photos after January 2009 until today as I had not backed them up. All my documents also and my Home ed forms and lesson plans, all gone to the big black hole connected to my computer. Oh well, I guess I will be making a real effort to back up everything from now on!
I Wonder if I really have learnt a lesson here today...
Back up, back up, back up!
